I have always tried to keep the number of organizations that I am involved with down to those I can count on one hand, and take the time to develop deep connections with the leaders and membership of those organizations through service on committees and boards. I served as the 2003-04 President for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
which was extremely rewarding. I really do believe that economic empowerment for women can solve many of the world's problems. Now that my term on the NAWBO National Board has concluded, my volunteer time has been divided between my local Central Jersey Chapter of NAWBO and the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, where I serve as Marketing and Program Chair. Volunteer positions have developed my leadership abilities, rounded out my skill set, kept me busy and
introduced me to thousands of dynamic, inspirational people.
